Membership
In just the first year of operation the Lodge of Endeavour membership has grown by more than 50%, with a predominance of initiates in the increase.
Biennial Communication
Various members of the Lodge of Endeavour are actively involved in the organisation of the Grand Lodge Communication for 2008 timed for mid-November 2008 and will be held in Christchurch. For more information visit the Grand Lodge site.
First Meeting
First refectory gathering.
Our first meeting took place on the 5th of March 2007. This was a "domestic" meeting where the organization of the Lodge was discussed, refectory procedures were checked and refinements made.
The Monthly social lunches recommenced at the Christchurch Club on Thursday 27th of February 2008 and are held on the third Thursday of each month. See "Meetings" page for details.
Next meeting
Our next meeting takes place on Monday, 6th May commencing at 6 pm. Members gather earlier for a brief period of socialising prior to the formal meeting. Standard of attire is lounge suit and Lodge or dark tie.
The evening will focus on the benevolence activities of the Lodge. Visitors are most welcome however for catering purposes it is necessary to advise the Secretary the Friday prior. Formal dining follows for which there is a charge of $60.
